the time has FINALLY come...the basement is getting its first paint on or should i say priming. the whole process of doing our basement was a nightmare...the framing, drywall, patching, sanding, patching, sanding more patching and toms of sanding...NEVER again. and to top it all off..Al is ready to do the deck for our backyard...NOT...i told him to wait until next year BUT of course, he's insisted to have it done this year. he says he wants to enjoy next year summer with NO reno. and lots of golfing...about golf, i have decided to join him in this activity. hopefully i could get as good as him...i am planning to buy my own golf set and hit the driving range...yeeepee!
anyhoot, the linoleum will be going down in the laundry room and front entrance tomorrow and carpet installation is scheduled for Wednesday...thank gawd!
i wish this could end already! my whole main floor area is all dusty...i dust everyday and its killing me...since this is a 4 day long weekend for me, i can clean the house from top to bottom...not fun at all. stay tuned for pics. of our basement from start to finish...
