STAGE 1:the drywall has finally arrived on Monday, and we've been really busy in the basement trying to get everything finished. once drywall is put into place, its time for the patching and sanding. that will be the BIG challenge. Ton & Brian were over yesterday helping out. our storage area is done.
STAGE 2:
drywall is almost completely up. basically, the ceiling is our last to do. we've already started the patching and sanding and boy, let me tell you, the sanding is the most terrible thing to experience. Get a Professional! Now i get to go shopping for tiles, carpet and linoleum...hmmm fun, fun, fun!
STAGE 3:
well, we're almost done! the drywall is almost up on the ceiling. a little more to do and we are done. i went to get some tile samples for the foyer & bathroom area. carpet will be the same as upstairs and linoleum for the storage and laundry room. this weekend we will have all the drywall installed, sanding & plastering ALL done..I HOPE! can't wait, it looks good. we thought after having all the framing and drywall installed, it would make our basement small, but really and truly, it looks the same but nicer. i'll post pics. tomorrow!
