great to be back home, especially with the heat wave they were having in south carolina...humid as hell...over 100 degrees with no air movement...what the @$%*?
we arrived in south carolina wednesday evening and boy, it was HOT..Al stepped out of the airport and ran back in. we waited for our ride and headed over to the house where, of course, there was a/c. the house was beautiful and huge. the backyard was big over looking a pond and lots of trees (don't know what was behind those trees...i think snakes and maybe an alligator)...went around to say hello to the familia...its was great seeing them, especially mom.
we were told that we came on a good weekend...NO TAX from Friday through Sunday...awesome! It was there back to school SALE! Thinking i would be doing all the shopping,, i thought wrong...'MR' here shopped till he dropped...well, i guess that was good seeing he needed jeans and shirts...the sale was so good that Guess jeans were $18.00 and Gap jeans were $9.99...what a bargain! So off he went shopping away!
August 4th - Rehearsal dinner was a success...our side of the family was throwing the rehearsal dinner since the brides side was throwing the wedding reception...all we did was cook, eat, drink and clean...it was a very exhausting day but it turned out good.
August 5th - The Wedding started off with the ceremony at 3pm...followed by the reception @ 5pm...good food, good company and COMPLIMENTARY BAR (you can't go wrong with that). The night ended at 9pm and off we went to a bar called Tsunami Japanese Restaurant..this place was cool!
August 6th - Brunch was held at the house for all of the out of towners that came to the wedding...along with the brunch they surprised us with a bridal shower and boy, Al received a cool gift that he will soon model for me...hehehe! My family is the greatest! The night ended with a birthday celebration at the pool for my cousin Avery...
August 7th - Myrtle Beach came and gone. The sale was ok...but as i said Al did all the shopping...lucky guy! We went to the beach to show Al the Atlantic Ocean...huge waves, warm air...
BTW, did i tell you that Al got sick...stuffy nose, itchy throat, fever, sneezing etc. he literally over dosed on drugs...He's fine now! All he needed was lots of rest!
OVERALL, the days off was awesome...time with family was nice...i miss my Hayden Mathew.."easy Ann, easy"
