need some shade

we finally decided to get window coverings for our house. it took us this long to decide the type of covering and colour. We had Home Depot come by to measure our windows. We have 9 windows that need coverings. That is alot! That's not including the basement.

We have chosen to put roller shades. we now await our new shades and then we can do our painting. we really wanted to go with shutters, but its way over our budget. maybe next time when we buy a bigger house. we'll start with these shades and see how we like them.

Weather UPDATE

Finally, the snow is melting. With all the snow we have been getting since November, we really need a break. Bring in the sun and let's get ready for spring. I am ready to do my gardening.
Vancouver reminds me of Toronto but not as worse. But this year the East coast had a long break with no snow, but not anymore. They got hit over the weekend and it doesn't seem to want to stop. Good luck you Torontonians and by the way GO CANUCKS GO!
